Ajax have reached an agreement with Daniel Skaarud and Lillestrøm SK on the transfer of the 16-year-old forward to Amsterdam. The Norwegian signs a three-season contract in Amsterdam, lasting until June 30, 2027. The transfer of Skaarud is subject to a few formalities.
Skaarud (Lørenskog, Norway, September 17, 2007) was part of the first team of Lillestrøm SK last season. The Norwegian youth international will be added to the Ajax U19 squad.
Ajax secured their first friendly victory on Tuesday evening. In Oldebroek, Gelderland, the team led by Francesco Farioli won 4-0 against Sint-Truidense V.V. The Amsterdam goals were scored by Jorrel Hato, Jaydon Banel, Carlos Forbs, and Kenneth Taylor.
Ajax have played the first friendly of the new season on Friday afternoon. At sports complex De Toekomst, the match against PEC Zwolle ended in a 0-1 loss due to a goal scored by Anthony Fontana.
Ajax and adidas present the new home kit and pre-match shirt for the 2024/2025 season. The kit, marking the 25th home kit that adidas and Ajax have jointly launched, has a classic character.
