Sosa was born on January 21, 1998, in Zagreb. The Croatian international followed the youth academy of Dinamo Zagreb, where he had been playing for the first team since 2015. In 2018, the left-footed player transferred to VfB Stuttgart, where he played over 100 duels in the last five seasons.
Ajax signs Borna Sosa
Ajax has reached an agreement with Borna Sosa and VfB Stuttgart on the transfer of the defender to Amsterdam. The 25-year-old Croat signed a contract effective immediately, which will run for five years, until June 30, 2028. Sosa’s contract at the Bundesliga club ran until 2025.
