Ajax sign Head of Scouting

Director of Football Sven Mislintat: "We are happy with Kelvin's decision to sign with Ajax. He is the right person for the job we offered him. We were looking for a modern head scout with knowledge of the international football industry. Kelvin knows what Ajax stands for. With his experience gained at City and his competences he will bring additional qualities to the current scouting department. I am looking forward to working together with him closely."

De Lang (Amsterdam, December 24, 1980) is in possession of a CIOS-diploma, an UEFA A License and finished the HBO study Sport Management at the Johan Cruyff University. De Lang trained several youth teams at HFC Haarlem from 2002 to 2005, after which he had multiple different roles in scouting, recruitment, and marketing at three different management agencies from 2005 till 2017. He moved to England in 2017 to start working in the scouting department of the current Premier League champion: Manchester City. In his new position at Ajax, De Lang will lead the Scouting department and report to Director of Football Mislintat.
