Ajax disapproves of the misconduct that led to the suspension of the Klassieker. A lot of football fans bore the brunt of this. Due to national and international matches, the first moment to play the remainder of Ajax-Feyenoord from Ajax’s perspective is in the first week of November. In that week, a round of the Dutch Cup will be played, in which Ajax does not participate. FC Volendam does.
The competition and Dutch Cup program is being adjusted for four clubs by the KNVB to play the remainder of a suspended match. Not only the clubs but also the supporters suffer the consequences of this. Due to this reason, Ajax is considering taking legal steps.
