Ajax prepares for first official encounter with SS Lazio

Following the press conference with Francesco Farioli and Brian Brobbey at the Johan Cruijff ArenA, the duo headed to De Toekomst. There, the squad trained on Wednesday afternoon in preparation for Ajax - SS Lazio.

The first 15 minutes were open to the press, during which the players completed a warm-up with music playing in the background. Once the squad had finished warming up, a reaction drill followed. Before the session continued behind closed doors, the team worked on passing drills, with the coaching staff actively involved.

On Thursday evening, Ajax will face the Italian league leaders in the League Phase of the UEFA Europa League at the Johan Cruijff ArenA. Kick-off for the match against SS Lazio is at 21:00. This marks the first official match between Ajax and SS Lazio. However, the Italian side has previously participated in the Amsterdam Tournament twice.
