Ajax players massively supported ahead of the Klassieker

With the Klassieker approaching, Ajax held a final open training session. Though Ajax fans are not permitted in Rotterdam, a large group of supporters gathered at the De Toekomst training ground on Tuesday afternoon to show their support for Francesco Farioli's team in the lead-up to Wednesday evening's away match against Feyenoord.

Half an hour before the training even started, it was already busy at De Toekomst. The Bobby Haarms stand filled up quickly as fans, full of anticipation, waited for the players with cheers and chants. Right at 16:00, the Ajax players entered the pitch to loud applause from the supporters. A banner surrounded by flags appeared along the edge of the field.

The players started with a lap around the fans. After a brief ten-minute warm-up, they formed two rondos. Throughout the entire training session, the supporters made their voices heard.

After the training session, the players approached the fans once more and were rewarded with loud applause. Following a final interaction with the crowd, Farioli and his players left the field. On to Wednesday, on to Rotterdam.
