In the second half, Ajax made good use of their numerical advantage. First, Tolu made it 1-2 after Abdellah Ouazane had done well to cut the ball back. That completely broke FC Midtjylland's resistance. Owen Wijndal, Davy Klaassen and Oscar Gloukh then put Ajax 1-5 up.

Delighted
Substitute Marcos Leonardo also got in on the act. The striker headed home the 1-6 late on and was visibly delighted with his goal.
