Ajax has signed an agreement with Sevilla FC and Lucas Ariel Ocampos. The Argentinian will be on loan from the Spanish club, where he is currently under contract. The loan will last for one season, until 30 June, 2023, with an option to buy.
Ocampos (11 July, 1994) played for River Plate's youth side before leaving South America in 2012. Prior to signing with Sevilla FC in 2019, the Argentina international played all over Europe, with AC Milan, Genoa, Olympique Marseille and Monaco.
Ajax had a training session at the De Toekomst Wednesday afternoon. Alfred Schreuder's team was getting ready for their second home game in the league, this Saturday against Cambuur Leeuwarden.
Ajax, Naci Ünüvar and Trabzonspor have reached an agreement on the loan of the player to the Turkish club. The loan starts with immediate effect and will run for one season, until 30 June, 2023. The 19-year-old forward's contract with Ajax is due to run until 30 June, 2026.
Ajax and Manchester United have reached an agreement about the transfer of Antony Matheus dos Santos. The transfer is subject to medical and contractual details of both clubs and player. The winger is under contract at Ajax until June 30, 2025. Ajax have agreed a transfer fee of € 95 million. Including add-ons, the fee could rise until € 100 million.
