Ajax far too strong for FK Vojvodina over two legs

Ajax also recorded a 4-1 victory over FK Vojvodina on home soil. Last week, Ajax won by the exact same scoreline in Serbia. Oscar Gloukh was the star of the show on Thursday evening at the Johan Cruijff ArenA, scoring three goals. Ajax will face Irish side Shelbourne FC in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League next week.

Ajax made a strong start in front of their home crowd and had already created four chances within the opening fifteen minutes. However, goalkeeper Dragan Rosić proved difficult to beat. To make matters worse, FK Vojvodina took the lead shortly before half-time when Djordje Crnomarkovic scored from a corner. Davy Klaassen restored parity for Ajax before the break to make it 1-1.
