Ajax extends Sherida Spitse's contract by two years

Ajax and Sherida Spitse have reached an agreement on a new contract. The 35-year-old midfielder's new deal runs until June 30, 2027.

Sherida Spitse (born May 29, 1990 in Sneek) has been playing for Ajax since January 2021. The Dutch national team's record international joined from Norwegian club Vålerenga IF at that time. Before that, Spitse played for LSK Kvinner FK, SC Heerenveen, and FC Twente. To date, Spitse has appeared in 138 matches for Ajax.
