Ajax and Rico Speksnijder have reached an agreement on a new contract. The new contract of the 19-year-old winger will run until June 30, 2025. His former contract ran until mid-2024.

Rico Speksnijder was born in Gouda on February 23, 2005, and transferred from Feyenoord’s youth academy to Ajax's in 2019. The left-footed player made his debut in professional football during the MVV - Ajax U23 match (2-1). Speksnijder has played nineteen matches for Ajax U23 so far.
