Dies Janse was born in Goes on January 17, 2006, and switched from Sparta's youth academy to Ajax's youth academy in 2020. On August 25, 2023, Janse debuted in professional football during the away match of Ajax U23 against Cambuur (4-2). So far, he has played twelve matches for Ajax U23, in which he scored once.

Technical Director Alex Kroes: "We are delighted that Dies has extended his contract. He is a player who has all the qualities to make it to Ajax 1. His current contract ran until mid-2026, but given his performance, we have already offered him a new contract. He has earned this himself. He is currently having a very good preparation with the first team, and we see a very bright future for him with us."
