Ajax started the second half looking for more chances. A corner taken by Wout Weghorst was converted to a goal by Ko Itakura, who scored his first goal for Ajax. The remainder of the match wasn't fruitful for Ajax. The Ajacieden did not get past a 1-1 draw.
