Ajax have won the home match against NAC. The match in the Johan Cruijff ArenA ended 3-1. The goals on behalf of the Amsterdam-based team were scored by Kenneth Taylor, Steven Berghuis, and Jorthy Mokio.

In the last match against NAC on August 18, 2024, Ajax failed to secure a victory against the team from Breda: 2-1. This time, Ajax proved to be too strong. Ajax has been unbeaten in the Eredivisie since early December 2024.

The players wore special shirts this Sunday. For an initiative together with Ziggo to stop online hate, Ajax wore a shirt with three white dots and Silence Social Hate in the place where the Ziggo logo usually goes.
