Ajax and Jordi Cruijff reach verbal agreement

Ajax and Jordi Cruijff have reached a verbal agreement regarding the position of Technical Director. The process to arrive at a definitive appointment is in its final phase; a number of steps still need to be taken. Ajax’s aim is for Cruijff to be able to start in early February 2026.

Ajax’s Supervisory Board (RvC) also intends to appoint him as a statutory director. This, subject to the applicable procedure, for a period up to and including 30 June 2028. For this reason, an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGM) will be convened, at which Ajax’s shareholders will be formally informed of this intended appointment.
