Ajax and Fulham FC reach agreement on Calvin Bassey

Ajax and Fulham FC have reached an agreement on the direct transfer of Calvin Bassey. The defender's contract at Ajax ran until June 30, 2027. Ajax and the English club agreed on a € 22.5 million transfer fee.

Calvin Bassey was born on December 31, 1999, in the Italian Modena. The Nigerian national team player made a transfer from the Scottish Rangers FC last summer and made his debut in the Johan Cruijff Shield match Ajax - PSV (3-5) on July 30, 2022. Bassey played 39 official matches for Ajax's first team and scored one goal.
