Since the start of the partnership, delegations from both clubs have visited each other. During these visits, knowledge about youth development and scouting was shared. Additionally, youth coaches from CF Pachuca have interned at Ajax's youth academy, and young players have had trial periods with Jong Ajax. The Mexican club also participated with an U17 team in the last two editions of the Olympia Future Cup at the de Toekomst sports complex.
Qualified for Club World Cup
CF Pachuca has won the Mexican league title seven times and the CONCACAF Champions Cup six times. The last time they secured this prestigious title was in 2024. As a result, the club directly qualified for the first edition of the FIFA Intercontinental Cup and the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. In the Intercontinental Cup, CF Pachuca finished as runners-up last December after losing the final against Real Madrid. Furthermore, CF Pachuca remains the only Mexican club to have won the CONMEBOL Sudamericana - the South American equivalent of the Europa League.
