Ajax has reached an agreement with Tommy Setford and Arsenal regarding the immediate transfer of the goalkeeper to London. Setford's contract with Ajax was set to run until June 30, 2025.
Setford (Haarlem, March 13, 2006) has been part of Ajax's youth academy since 2013. He is the younger brother of Ajax U23 goalkeeper Charlie Setford.

Gabriel Misehouy scored the only goal of the match from the penalty spot: 0-1. In stoppage time, goalkeeper Tommy Setford prevented a shootout by saving a penalty from MTK Budapest.
