In the Netherlands, three million people aged 16 to 75 struggle with reading, writing, and/or numeracy. This makes it difficult, among other things, to use computers and smartphones, and as a result, these people experience problems at work, with finances, health and social contacts. Tyrese Teuwsen (Ajax U19) was one of them. He found motivation in football and, with the support of the School of the Future, managed to overcome his challenges in this area.

Ajax U19’s adventure in the UEFA Youth League has come to an end. Yuri Rose’s team suffered defeat on Wednesday afternoon in freezing Poland. Despite a goal that brought them back into the game from Tyrese Teuwsen, Ajax lost 2–1 away to Legia Warsaw U19.
The UEFA Youth League is a tournament in which Ajax U19 are aiming to make a strong impression. With ten points from six matches, the Amsterdam side finished among the top 22, earning a place in the next round. We were present at the first six fixtures, right from the front row, and captured exclusive footage.
Ajax has reached an agreement with Paulo Da Silva on the transfer of the eighteen-year-old striker to Amsterdam. The youth international joins from NEC and has signed a 3,5 year contract in Amsterdam, running until June 30, 2029.
