In 20-Second countdown, two Ajax players face off in a race against the clock. Each player has twenty seconds on the clock to start each round. Ajax recorded their second 5-0 win of this week on Sunday afternoon. After having cruised past Vitesse in the Dutch Cup on Wednesday, they handed FC Twente an identical loss in the league. Sébastien Haller was the star of the day with a hat-trick.
Erik ten Hag was very satisfied with his side’s performance after they beat FC Twente (5-0): "We are going to play better and better after the winter break", the Ajax coach said. "But I have to say that we had a hard time in the first thirty minutes. The fact that we eventually scored five times is a big compliment to the team."
Ajax made it through to the semi-finals of the KNVB Cup with ease on Wednesday evening. Vitesse were beating 5-0 at the Johan Cruijff ArenA. With this, the team from Amsterdam has qualified for the fourth time in a row for the final four in the domestic cup.
