Ajax loans out Lisandro Magallán to Deportivo Alavés

Ajax and Deportivo Alavés have reached an agreement for the loan out of Lisandro Magallán.  The loan out is effective immediately and runs until June 30, 2020.  An option to buy has been included in the deal.  Magallán’s contract with Ajax is effective until the summer of 2023.

Magallán (La Plata, September 27, 1993) came from Boca Juniors in January 2019.  The Argentinian player made his debut with Ajax 1 on January 24, 2019, during the cup game against sc Heerenveen (3-1).  To date, the defender has played in a total of 6 games in Ajax’s first team.

With Ajax 1, Magallán won the Dutch championship last season, as well as the KNVB Cup.  He also on the Johan Cruijff Shield on July 27.
