Ajax and Sven Botman have reached an agreement to extend his contract, which had been effective until June 30, 2022. The 20 year-old central defender’s new agreement will be valid until June 30, 2023. Botman has been playing on a loan-out basis at sc Heerenveen this season. This loan out agreement is in place until the end of the season.
Botman (Badhoevedorp, January 12, 2000) made his professional football debut on August 17, 2008, in the Roda JC – Ajax Reserves (2-1) match. He’s played in a total of 28 official matches to date for the reserves, and has scored two goals.
