Ajax and Guangzhou R&F FC started a partnership in youth development since beginning of 2018. In the previous agreement, Ajax delivered four staff members to Guangzhou R&F. At this moment, Ajax has 8 staff members in total (7 technical staff members and 1 partnership coordinator) locate at R&F Football Academy, dedicated in building up the youth development structure.
Edwin van der Sar Stadium
To express respect, R&F Football Academy renamed their main stadium as “Edwin van der Sar” Stadium. After the signing ceremony, Edwin van der Sar opened the stadium in front of the students and teachers. He participated an interactive clinic with students on the newly renamed stadium afterwards.
