Ajax eSports starts looking for the new FIFA talent

The 8 winners, retrieving out of the 8 weekly online qualifiers via both Xbox and PlayStation, qualify themselves for the (offline) Grand Final. The winner of the tournament in Amsterdam is provided with the ultimate prize: a professional contract at Ajax. The contract includes coaching, a personal trainer and a very own back number. The Hungarian FIFA player Gabor Szirtesi won the Ziggo eBattle – Ajax Next ePlayer last season.

The winner of the Ziggo eBattle – Ajax Next ePlayer 2020 will become the newest addition to current team members Dani Hagebeuk, the American Joey Calabro, the Brazilian player Tore and the talented Hungarian Gabor Szirtesi. Hagebeuk is looking forward to the start of the qualifiers: “Education has always been the core of Ajax. The club gives young talent the chance to perform on the highest stage. The comeback of the Ziggo eBattle requires us to sign a new talent and to help with his or her development.”
