Ajax has reached an agreement with AZ for the transfer of Dani de Wit to the Alkmaar club. The attacking midfielder had been under contract with Ajax until June 30, 2021.
De Wit was born on January 28, 1998 in Hoorn, and has been playing in Ajax’s youth academy since 2006. He made his debutin the first team on February 25 2018 during the Ajax 0 ADO Den Haag (0-0) game. The Dutch Youth International has played in a total of 14 matches in Ajax 1.
Champion and Cup winner
With Ajax, De Wit won the Dutch championships last year, as well as the KNVB Cup. On July 27th this year, he also won the Johan Cruijff Shield. With the Ajax Reserves, he won the Jupiler League championship in 2017-2018.
