Ajax signs 3 youth players

Three of Ajax’s youth players signed their first professional contracts on Friday. . Neraysho Kasanwirjo, Enric Llansana Beuse en Sontje (Mishon) Hansen have all signed contracts which take effect on July 1, 2018, and run for three years, until June 30, 2021.  The trio has been playing in Ajax’s academy for five years.

Neraysho Kasanwirjo (Amsterdam, February18, 2002) has been playing with the Ajax U16s this year, and can play in several defensive positions.

Neraysho: “I woke up happy this morning.  Signing my first contract at Ajax is great.  At the moment I signed, I realized how unique it was.  It means that I’m on the right track with what I want to reach.  I would like to show what I can do next season, and perhaps take another step up.  Ambitious?  Yes, I definitely am.  I want to achieve.”

Enric Llansana Beuse (Cambrils, Spain, Apri 12, 2001) is a controlling midfielder who has been playing with the Ajax U17s this season.

Enric: “I am thrilled with this.  I was hardly able to sleep last night.  It’s amazing to sign a contract with Ajax, after all!  This moment totally makes my whole summer.  It didn’t start well, by the way.  I was selected for the European Championships, but the day before, I tore a ligament in my knee during the game against FC Groningen.  While I was sitting at home, very disappointed, I saw my social media feed full of messages of support from my team mates.  That was super.  And now, signing this contract is a truly amazing feeling.”

Sontje Hansen (Hoorn, May 18 2002) is a right-footed forward who has been playing with the  Ajax U17s.

Sontje:”This is amazing.  I’ve always dreamed of this.  I’m a real Ajax fan, just like my mother.  It’s a special day for the entire family.  At the moment I signed the contract, I felt very good.  I was a bit nervous, but now that I’ve signed, I’m relieved and happy.  What do I want to show next season? Great football and I hope to get a spot on the squad.  Oh, and win the championship with the Ajax U19s, of course.”

All 3 talents are Dutch youth internationals.
