Ajax has ended its training camp in Klosterpforte with a big win on Saturday afternoon. The closed game against SV Lippstadt 08 ended in a 0-9 victory. The score at the halfway mark was 0-5 thanks to goals by van Noussair Mazraoui (2), Klaas Jan Huntelaar (2) and Zakaria Labyad. After the break, the latter struck again. The key player of the second half was Dani de Wit, who scored a clean hat trick.
It was the Ajacieds’ second friendly of the week. After a disappointing outcome against Preußen Münster (1-3), the Ajacieds fared better this time. Great goals were scored in both halfs. SV Lippstadt 08 plays in the 4th division in Germany, slightly lower than Preußen Münster.
In the first 20 minutes, the Ajacieds were unable to break through Lippstadt’s defense. Once the floodgates were opened, there was no stopping the goals. After a beautiful heel-pass from David Neres, Mazraoui opened the score with a beautiful shot: 0-1. Not even a minute later, Labyad scored the 0-2 goal with a low shot on a pass from the right.
No time to rest
Things started to move with Ajax, and the opponent had no time to catch their breath. After that, it was Huntelaar’s turn to strike. The striker sent a beautiful header into the goal, 0-3, and then nearly went on to score the 0-4 goal. Mazraoui’s prep work could be considered the same. When halftime struck, Mazraoui was the one who scored.
After halftime, Erik ten Hag made 6 changes and after an hour of play, Ajax’s coach brought in an additional 5 fresh reinforcements. Despite the many changes, Ajax was still hungry. Labyad brought the margin up to 6, after which De Wit did his magic. Within fifteen minutes, he had a clean hat trick to his name.
