Noa Lang stays on at Ajax for longer

Ajax and Noa Lang have reached an agreement for the extension of his contract, which had been effective until June 30, 2019.  The attacking midfielder’s new agreement goes into effect retroactively per January 1, 2019, until June 30, 2021.  An option for one additional season is in the contract.

Lang (Capelle aan den IJssel, June 17, 1999) has been playing in Ajax’s youth academy since 2013.  He made his debut in the first team on September 26, 2018, in the KNVB Cup match against Te Werve: 0-7.  The Dutch Under 20s international has played in 3 games so far with Ajax’s first team.

Lang has played in 34 official games to date with the Ajax Reserves, scoring 7 goals.  He won the Jupiler League championship with the Ajax Reserves in 2017-2018.
