Ajax played a friendly match against FC Twente on Thursday. At sports complex De Toekomst, the Ajax side coached by Oscar García lost 0-1. In the closing stages of the friendly, Daouda Weidmann scored the only goal. Ajax will not be in action this coming weekend, as the Dutch Cup final is being played. The Amsterdam-based team resume the competition on Saturday, April 25 with an away match against NAC. Kick-off is at 20:00.
