Ajax prepare for FC Sion decider at de Toekomst

Ajax trained at sports complex de Toekomst on Wednesday afternoon in preparation for their UEFA Conference League play-off match against FC Sion. The training session was open to the media for the first fifteen minutes. After the session, Ajax head coach Míchel Sánchez and captain Davy Klaassen faced the national and international press in the media room at the Johan Cruyff ArenA.

Ajax Women are set to face Real Madrid at home in the play-offs of the UEFA Women's Champions League. Ajax booked their place in the play-offs by winning a mini-tournament in Glasgow. Together with Femke Liefting and Nadine Noordam, we look back on the tournament in Scotland and ahead to Wednesday evening's clash. Ajax and SC Cambuur have reached an agreement regarding the return of Ryan van de Pavert. The twenty-year-old defender was on loan at the Eredivisie club but will return to Amsterdam with immediate effect. Van de Pavert remains under contract with Ajax until June 30, 2029.

Ajax has reached an agreement with S.S. Lazio and Josip Šutalo regarding the loan of the defender to the Italian club. The loan deal will run until June 30, 2027. The agreement includes an option to buy for the Rome-based club. Šutalo's contract with Ajax currently runs until June 30, 2028.
