Highlights Ajax - Burnley FC | Ouazane nets the winner

Ajax followed up Thursday's UEFA Conference League victory over FK Vojvodina with a 2-1 win over Burnley FC in a friendly match. Aaron Bouwman opened the scoring at the Johan Cruijff ArenA, before Abdellah Ouazane settled the contest with around twenty minutes remaining after a sharp Ajax counter-attack.

Ajax have taken a strong advantage into the return leg of their UEFA Conference League tie against FK Vojvodina at the Johan Cruijff ArenA. The first leg in Serbia ended in a convincing 1-4 win for the Ajax side. Debutant Mohamed Abdalla scored Ajax's fourth goal of the evening, putting the finishing touch on an impressive victory.

Ajax's greatest achievements featured on new away kit

Ajax has unveiled its new away kit for the 2026/2027 season. The black kit with orange accents celebrates the club’s history while looking ahead to the future. A subtle light-grey graphic integrated into the design highlights nine of the club’s most significant sporting achievements. The kit is also the first official Ajax match kit to feature the adidas Originals logo, adding a classic touch to the overall design.

Ajax's competitive campaign officially gets under way. On Thursday evening at 20:00, the Amsterdammers will face FK Vojvodina away in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League. Before the squad departed for Serbia, the group trained in Amsterdam on Wednesday.
