Ajax has reached an agreement with Kealyn Thomas on the midfielder’s transfer to the club. Thomas has signed a contract in Amsterdam that runs until June 30, 2028.

The successful partnership between Ajax and the Sandals Foundation in Curaçao has resulted in the BBC documentary Future Goals, a short film about one of the most remarkable grassroots football programmes that exists this Sunday. The story is available to watch for the first time on the Ajax and Sandals (YouTube) channels with the documentary airing on the BBC later this summer.

After two seasons, Wout Weghorst is bringing his time at Ajax to an end as he signs for FC Twente. The striker is genuinely proud to have worn the Ajax shirt. The forward finished as the club's top scorer in the Eredivisie in his first season and was an important impact substitute under Francesco Farioli.

Ajax has signed Nafairon Landvreugd. The 18-year-old forward has put pen to paper on a contract running until June 30, 2029. It is the player’s first professional contract.

Wout Weghorst is leaving Ajax. The 33-year-old striker will continue his career at FC Twente. The Netherlands international had been playing in Amsterdam since the summer of 2024 and his contract has now expired.

The World Cup is still in full swing, but for several Ajax players preparations for the new season have already begun. Our new head coach, Míchel Sánchez, welcomed his squad to de Toekomst on Thursday for their initial tests, followed by the first group training session on Friday. The head coach also showed he hasn’t lost his touch, joining in a rondo himself. We were there on both days, from start to finish, capturing everything along the way.
Ajax and Paul Nuijten part ways
Ajax and Paul Nuijten have mutually agreed to terminate the trainer’s contract with immediate effect. His contract with the club had originally been due to run until June 30, 2027.
