Welcome, Marc: Ter Stegen gets to know Ajax

Marc ter Stegen has taken his first steps at Ajax's training complex, De Toekomst. Upon arrival, the German goalkeeper was welcomed by Oscar Gloukh before undergoing his medical examinations. He was then given a tour by Jordi Cruijff and signed his contract. With that, the goalkeeper's Ajax chapter has officially begun.

Ajax to face FC Noah or FC Sion if they defeat Shelbourne FC

Ajax will take on Shelbourne FC on Thursday in the third qualifying round for the UEFA Conference League group stage. If the Amsterdam side overcome the Irish club over two legs, FC Noah or FC Sion will be their next opponents in the play-off round. This was confirmed during Monday's draw.

Highlights FC Volendam - Ajax | First Ajax goals for Leonardo and Tolu

Pre-season has come to an end for Ajax. Míchel Sánchez's side secured a 1-3 victory away to FC Volendam. Anton Gaaei opened the scoring before Ajax's new strikers took centre stage. Marcos Leonardo found the net from the penalty spot before half-time, while Tolu added the third goal in the closing stages. It marked the first Ajax goal for both forwards.

Ajax end pre-season on a positive note

Ajax won their final pre-season fixture on Sunday afternoon. Míchel Sánchez's side defeated FC Volendam 1-3 away from home. Anton Gaaei opened the scoring before Marcos Leonardo converted from the penalty spot. After Ajax had gifted the hosts a goal, Tolu sealed the result with Ajax's third of the afternoon.
