Ajax has little trouble with Sparta
Ajax is on a winning streak in the Eredivisie. After victories against NEC (1-2) and RKC (2-3), Ajax beat Sparta on Saturday. The final score in the Johan Cruijff ArenA was 2-1. Brian Brobbey and Steven Bergwijn scored on behalf of Ajax.
Ajax takes a stand against social hate
Every month, players of Ajax Men’s and Women’s teams receive over 1,500 hate messages on social media. But sadly it’s not just our players. These types of messages are part of a growing trend that impact millions of people online. In an effort to silence social hate, Ajax will wear a jersey with three white dots instead of names during their matches this weekend. The dots represent the universal sign for silence, as well as the menu icon you select to report hate messages and associated accounts.
Berghuis in Club of 100: 'Dortmund at home was my best match'
Steven Berghuis recently joined the Club of 100. The left-footed Ajax player looks back on his first hundred official matches in the service of Amsterdam, standing in front of the photo wall. "Primarily, the initial weeks were tense, but ultimately, I am happy and proud of how I performed."
