Ajax players Wesley Sneijder and Rafael van der Vaart have been selected by national team coach Dick Advocaat. Holland are in the decisive stages of qualification for Euro 2004 in Portugal.
Former Ajax player Andy van der Meyde (Internazionale) has also been picked for the qualifying matches against Austria and the Czech Republic. In comparison with the squad for the friendly against Belgium (1-1), Ronald de Boer (Glasgow Rangers) and Clarence Seedorf (AC Milan) have been cut.
Holland's squad will consist of 22 players for the matches against Austria (Saturday in Rotterdam) and the Czech Republic (Wednesday 10 September in Prague).
