Dario Cvitanich started for the first time in his tenure at Ajax.

With Maarten Stekelenburg and Dennis Gentenaar injured, Kenneth Vermeer was on goal in the match against FK Borac.

With less than 20,000 spectators, the UEFA Cup match was not sold out. The supporters that were there, had a good time, though.

Klaas Jan Huntelaar had several good opportunities, but did not score. He did, however, give an assist to Jeffrey Sarpong.

Eyong Enoh played another solid match. The midfielder from Cameroon won a lot of balls and occasionally fired from distance.

Bruno Silva came on often to provide crosses to the forwards.

Luis Suarez was the most dangerous forward. He made it 2-0 in the closing minutes of the match.

Urby Emanuelson is still out and Robbert Schilder is a good replacement for him. Schilder crossed to Suarez for Ajax's second goal.
