Max Wöber, who was substituted due to an injury during last week’s game against FC Twente, will most likely be available to play on Sunday against PSV. “He completed a full training today”, according to Marcel Keizer at the weekly press conference.
Amin Younes and Klaas Jan Huntelaar are still question marks for the crucial game. Their condition will be evaluated during the final training on Saturday.
'I’m assuming that Max will be there on Sunday'
Prior to halftime against FC Twente, Wöber made a wrong move and sustained a light neck injury. He was substituted by Deyovaisio Zeefuik at halftime. Keizer: “Max has missed 3 or 4 trainings. If he trains fully on Saturday, I’m assuming that he’ll be there on Sunday.”
“Huntelaar did an entire trained today for the first time”, explained Keizer. The striker was forced to sit out the home game against Roda JC due to a calf injury. The veteran was in the selection against FC Twente, but didn’t play.
Last training will be decisive
Younes has been missing in action for several weeks due to his knee injury, but he seems to be recovering. “Amin has trained twice this week”, said Keizer. Will the Huntelaar-Younes duo be in attendance against PSV? “We’ll see on Saturday.”
Mitchell Dijks will likely sit out the game against PSV. Vaclav Cerny, Nick Viergever and Daley Sinkgraven will definitely be absent, as all three have long-term injuries.
Kick-off will be on Sunday at 16:45 in the Amsterdam ArenA.
