Ajax Cape Town coach Gordon Igesund has praised his club's Democratic Republic of Congo trio for their sterling performance against Bafana Bafana last Sunday.
The trio of Ajax defenders - Cyrille Mubiala, Bageta Dikulu and Tsholola Tshinyama, were widely responsible for the South African strikers' inability to score during their 1-0 loss to Congo in Kinshasa four days ago.
"Cyrille, Bageta and Tsholola were brilliant against Bafana," said Igesund.
"I was really pleased with their performances, now they need to return and do the same for Ajax."
The Urban Warriors face Manning Rangers on Sunday and although Igesund led the Chatsworth-based side to the Castle Premiership title eight years ago, he admitted that he does not know much about them.
"They have undergone so many changes over the last few years, that it's difficult to say what to expect," he said.
"We need to build on our win over Celtic and be more positive at home. I'm also looking at improving our wing play to make us even more effective."
