The Czech Republic, with Zdenek Grygera and captain Tomás Galásek in the starting line-up, cruised to a 3-0 win at Armenia on Wednesday. Galásek left the pitch after 56 minutes.
After only three minutes Jan Koller brought the Czechs ahead when he headed in a Marek Heinz free kick. Rosicky doubled the lead with a nice shot from distance. Right before halftime, Grygera seemed to make it 0-3 after a free kick by again Heinz, but the Ajax defender saw his effort stopped by Armenia's goalkeeper Bete.
Eventually it was 0-3 anyway. Again Jan Koller scored, this time in the second half. The Czech Republic now have six points from three matches and take third place in the group after Finland (4-9) and Romania (4-9).
