The AEGON Future Cup will be held this Easter weekend (April 7,8,9) and will be broadcast in 59 countries. This indicates the magnitude of the international tournament for B-juniors. Eurosport, Eredivisie Live and of course and Ajax TV will broadcast from de Toekomst sports complex, where Ajax takes on such powerhouses as Manchester United, FC Barcelona and Bayern München.

It’s clear that the AEGON Future Cup is getting bigger every year, and not only because of the stellar participants. The organization has brought only top teams in the under 17 age category to Amsterdam. The B-juniors from host Ajax, Desportivo Brasil, Besiktas and Ajax Cape Town are joined by youth teams from several teams which play in the UEFA Champions League. The presence of van FC Barcelona, Bayern München, AC Milan en Manchester United ensures that Eurosport will broadcast the important matches live for the first time. In the tournament’s previous editions, the matches were broadcast with some delay.

Images from the AEGON Future Cup will also be shown in Brazil. Moreover, highlights from the most important games will be shown on Ajax TV. The international version of Ajax’s official club channel can be watched in 75 countries.

Tickets for Ajax’s international youth tournament cost 7.50 euros. The cost of a three day pass for the entire tournament costs 10 euros. Children 13 years of age and under have free admission to the tournament for the entire weekend.
