Ajax and Dani de Wit have reached an agreement for the extension of his contract, which had been effective until June 30, 2020. The new agreement for the attacking midfielder goes into effect on July 1, 2019, until June 30, 2021.
De Wit was born in Hoorn on January 28, 1998, and has been playing in Ajax’s youth academy since 2006. He made his debut in the first team on February 25, 2018, during the Ajax – ADO Den Haag match: 0-0. The Jong Oranje international has played in a total of 10 games in Ajax 1.
De Wit will also continue to play for the Ajax Reserves. He has played in a total of 53 games with the reserves and has scored 18 goals. He won the Jupiler League championship with the Ajax Reserves in 2017-2018.
