Ajax draws Milan, Real Madrid and Auxerre

Ajax now knows who its opponents in the Champions League group phase will be. On Thursday night’s draw in Monaco, Martin Jol’s team got paired with AC Milan, Real Madrid and Auxerre. It’s an outstanding group of teams, who among them have no fewer than 20 Europacup I / Champions League titles.

Named ‘UEFA Club Midfielder 2010’, former Ajax player Wesley Sneijder drew Ajax’s name from the case.

Ajax will meet the record holder in Real Madrid. The club from Spain’s capital has won the Europacup I / Champions League title no fewer than nine times. AC Milan is an old foe of Ajax’s.
