ABN AMRO is expanding its partnershp with Ajax to become the club’s Official eSports Partner. In the rapidly growing virtual football world, the bank will focus on talent development and making ambitions come true.
Menno Geelen, Ajax’s Commercial Director, is pleased with the intensified partnership: “ABN AMRO, as the Partner of the Toekomst, supports youth development, the Ajax Women and the Saturday amateurs, among others, and it thus deeply involved with the club. It’s great that this has been expanded to further include the development of talent within Ajax eSports. After Ziggo, as our main sponsor, and adidas as an eSports partner, ABN AMRO is the third Ajax sponsor to venture into this new domain with us.”
“For us, eSports is a new world where we see opportunities to reach a new target group”, according to Ernst Boekhorst, ABN AMRO’s Brand, Sponsoring & Foundation manager. “With sponsoring, we’re continuously focusing on talent. We want to give people the means to get the most out of their talents, and fulfill their ambitions.”
ABN AMRO and Ajax will give more information about the new talent program around Ajax eSports during this afternoon’s opening of the FIFA18 Xperience.
