Bosz: ‘I saw good football at times’

Peter Bosz had good things to say about Ajax’s performance while visiting ADO Den Haag.  In the Kyocera Stadium, the team won 0-2 without much difficulty.  “I saw the Ajax that I want to see.  They played good football at times.”

Bosz had a few comments on a mostly problem-free afternoon.  “We could have won by a bigger margin.  Unfortunately, we didn’t.  It was also a shame that our supporters weren’t welcome.”

Ajax’s coach explained his substitutions.  Left back Daley Sinkgraven and wing forwards Bertrand Traoré and Amin Younes were sent off in favour of Mitchell Dijks, Anwar El Ghazi and Nemanja Gudelj.  “Daley was having problems with his knee and we don’t want to take chances with him.  Traoré wasn’t having a great match and Younes was exhausted at the end.”

Centre forward Kasper Dolberg was also discussed.  The Dane stood out by his frequent slips in The Hague.  Carlo L’Ami even joked that it looked like he was wearing dancing shoes”, grinned Bosz.  “That’s a young player’s inexperience with footwear.  But otherwise, I think he played a great game.”
