Ajax has reached an agreement with Southampton FC for the transfer of Dusan Tadic to Amsterdam. The attacking midfielder is currently playing with his national team at the World Cup in Russia. Once the tournament ends for Serbia, Tadic will come to the Netherlands in order to personally finalize his 4 year contract with Ajax.
The former FC Groningen and FC Twente player will sign a contract that takes effect on July 1, and will be valid until June 30, 2022. Ajax will pay a transfer sum of 11,4 million euro, which could reach 13,7 million based on variables. Tadic was born on November 20, 1988, in Bačka Topola, Yugoslavia.
