Ajax and adidas has reached an agreement to extend their partnership. The new agreement goes into effect on July 1, 2019, until June 30, 2025. Ajax has been partners since the 2000-2001 season. Adidas has been the club’s main sponsor since July 1, 2009.
Just as with previous extensions of the sponsorship contract, the club’s athletic ambitions and Ajax’s vision for the future contributed to the extension of the partnership. Notably the increased focus on the international market and further developments in the youth academy played an important role.
