The first Ajax players are back from holiday and have reported to the de Toekomst sports complex on Thursday morning. Just like coach Alfred Schreuder, who officially started the Ajax preparations for the new season this week.

After the last round of the 2021/2022 season, the Ajax players enjoyed a few weeks of well-deserved rest. The Ajax internationals, who played matches in late May and early June, will join later.

After the players had taken their first steps back into the sports complex, and greeted their fellow players, it was time for various tests in the gym. By the looks on their faces, the Ajax players worked up a sweat straight away.

Technical staff Ajax completed

As Alfred Schreuder has officially started his tenure at Ajax this week, the club can announce that the technical staff is completed. Together with Michael Reiziger, Schreuder has a new face in the technical staff in assistant coach Matthias Kaltenbach who leaves TSG Hoffenheim and joins Ajax with immediate effect.
