Once the final teams qualified for the main draw on Tuesday and Wednesday evening, all 32 teams participating in the 2022/2023 Champions League season became known. Thanks to their 36th league title, Ajax was already assured of a ticket.

Coach Alfred Schreuder's team is in group 1 in the draw and will therefore avoid FC Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, FC Porto, AC Milan and Eintracht Frankfurt.

Ajax launched its third jersey on Wednesday morning. The shirt, which is a tribute to Amsterdam's street culture, its impact on the sense of community in Amsterdam and the 'golden generation', went down well with fans.
