‘Ajax still visible in China’


Ajax was supposed to be in China two weeks ago. A match against AC Milan in Beijing, the capital, was going to be the close to the championship year. But because the promoter wasn’t able to finalize the organization of the match, the trip was cancelled. This doesn’t alter Ajax’s plans with the Asian country. Ajax extends Frank de Boer’s contract


Ajax’s management has reached a verbal agreement with head coach Frank de Boer to extend his contract, which had been effective until June 30, 2015. The new contract takes effect on July 1, 2013 and is valid for four years, until June 30, 2017. De Boer: “This new contract is exactly what I wanted.”

Ajax ends season in style


Ajax has ended the season in style. Dressed in its latest away kit, freshly minted champion Ajax defeated FC Groningen 0-2. Kolbeinn Sigthórsson and substitute Danny Hoesen scored the goals in the Euroborg. “We did well”, concluded a satisfied Frank de Boer.

Ajax is the champion!


Ajax is the Dutch champion! In the sold out Amsterdam ArenA, Willem II was defeated 5-0 on Sunday. The Amsterdam team thus won its 32nd national championship. Moreover, Frank de Boer and his Ajax players won the triple, their third national title in a row. After the championship match, a celebration burst out in Amsterdam.
