Ajax and PSV have reached verbal agreement about the immediate transfer of Kenneth Perez. The midfielder signed a contract with Ajax until 1 July 2009 on Monday. Ajax have an option for one more year after that.

Kenneth Perez played 45 official matches for Ajax in the 2006-2007 season, in which he scored 17 goals. Before the now 33-year old Dane came to Ajax, he played for FC Kopenhagen, MVV and AZ. Ajax are trying to ensure that Perez can go with Ajax to Dubai on Friday, where the club takes part in a prestigious tournament.
