Ajax 2 have now won the double and captain Jason Culina received both the championship shield and the Cup afterwards.

,,We deserved to win", coach John van 't Schip said in a brief reaction. ,,We played well."

Despite that, his team were down 1-0 by a mistake in the Ajax defence. But Robin Muller van Moppes equalised after a good combination with Jason Culina en Michael Krohn-Dehli.

Krohn-Dehli gave Young Ajax the lead after halftime. He passed to Stanley Aboraa, received the ball back from the junior player and scored: 2-1. Aboraa doubled Ajax's lead fifteen minutes before the end by making it 3-1.

With ten minutes to play José Valencia committed a handball in the box and he was sent off. Feyenoord scored the spot kick. In the last ten hectic minutes Feyenoord tried to equalise, Ajax received some chances through counter attacks, but the result did not change anymore: 3-2.
