Clarence Seedorf will miss the remainder of the season. AC Milan's Dutch midfielder tore a ligament in his right knee in the Champions League match against his former club Ajax.
Seedorf was examined by Belgian professor Martens in Antwerp the day after Ajax - AC Milan, the match in which he had to be taken off after 25 minutes with an injury. The expected recovery time for Seedorf's injury is two months. The Dutch international will therefore miss the remainder of the season.
Seedorf was accompanied in Antwerp by his teammate Andrea Pirlo. The Italian also had knee problems. He will be out of action for eight to ten days, which will allow him to play in the return match against Ajax.
