Jong Ajax arrives in Hong Kong

Jong Ajax has landed at Hong Kong International Airport on 11 May, local time around 2.30. They are going to participate The HKFC Citibank International Soccer Sevens 2011 from May 13-15.

Hong Kong is already in summer, the temperature was 32 degree in the daytime. Jong Ajax's players and coaches came to Hong Kong Football Club this evening, in order to take part in a clinic organized by Aegon Direct Marketing Service (ADMS). Both the players and the coaches assisted the local students and teachers in Hong Kong in training. It was also the first warm-up activity of Jong Ajax.

Tim Oliver, the CEO of ADMS told that "ADMS is working for the next generation, we hope to enhance the local students' passion into football. And this clinic offers the local students a unique chance to get in touch with the players and coaches from a European top club, so that they can broaden their horizons, improve their skills and build up confidence."

During the clinic, more than 60 students were divided into 5 groups, each group was coached by 2 Jong Ajax players. And coach Gery Vink was guiding them all. He told also to the Hong Kong local media that "Skills are the most important to young players. If you want to achieve success, then you have to keep on training."

After about one hour training, Jong Ajax players stayed on the pitch to sign and take photos with the local Ajax supporters and the students.
